Dear Patients,

We would like to reassure you that we are responding to the current COVID 19 situation and will continue to provide services in a way that will protect both our patients and staff. In order to do this we ask all patient to please observe the following:-

DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY WITHOUT HAVING CALLED AHEAD FIRST! To reduce the risk of infection we will need to keep our waiting room as empty as possible. – Before calling us, please consider if you really need an appointment. Routine matters can be addressed at a later date when the urgency of the current situation has passed. We are trying to limit the spread of the disease by offering appointments only to those who urgently need to be seen. –

When you telephone the surgery Reception team will need to ask you a few questions about your symptoms, any fever, cough, shortness of breath etc. Please tell them everything you can as they will need to pass all information to the doctor who will decide the appropriate course of action in your particular case. This measure is to protect everyone. – Following your initial contact with us we ask all patient with concerning symptoms to self-isolate at home while waiting for the doctor to call you back. Please be patient with us as we anticipate a very high volume of calls. – If you are attending the surgery for an appointment please do not arrive before you allocated time. SANITISE YOUR HANDS AT THE DOOR! Once you check in you will be asked to remain in your car until the doctor is ready to see you. If you have no car you will be asked to take a seat in the waiting area, maintaining the required 1meter distance between you and other patients. – PRESCRIPTION ORDERS: Please telephone us with your prescription order or email us at [email protected]. Where possible, we will arrange for your prescription to be sent to your Pharmacy or advise when it should be collected.
