The Morning After Pill: The morning after pill (M.A.P.) is a tablet containing a hormone called progesterone which can prevent pregnancy. It is available 5 days a week Monday to Friday 8:30am until 5:30pm. . It can work up to 72 hours after unprotected intercourse. This should not be used as a form of contraception and cannot be taken more than once in the same cycle.
COPPER T – IUD: The Copper T IUD can, in some instances, be used as an emergency contraceptive when the time frame for use of the morning after pill has been exceeded (greater than 5 days).
