This discreet service offers full sexual health screens and emergency contraception. You will be looked after by our team in a friendly, relaxed and confidential setting.
A consultation by a doctor or our nurse who will take: urine sample – tested for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea blood sample – for H.I.V, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and Syphilis
Depending on your symptoms, you may have swabs taken.
Patients are advised not to pass urine for at least 2 hours before the screen in order to attain the optimal urine sample for testing.
If you are worried about a particular exposure, and you have NO symptoms, it is advised to leave 2 weeks before you are screened.

The Morning After Pill: The morning after pill (M.A.P.) is a tablet containing a hormone called progesterone which can prevent pregnancy. It is available 5 days a week Monday to Friday 8:30am until 5:30pm. . It can work up to 72 hours after unprotected intercourse. This should not be used as a form of contraception and cannot be taken more than once in the same cycle.
COPPER T – IUD: The Copper T IUD can, in some instances, be used as an emergency contraceptive when the time frame for use of the morning after pill has been exceeded (greater than 5 days). An IUD is a small, T-shaped plastic device that is wrapped in copper. The IUD is inserted into your uterus by your doctor.
